*I think it is much more satisfying to get an awesome deal on something from a thrift shop than a typical department sale. You know you saved it from going in to a landfill and you are not contributing to fast fashion.

*Think about why the item is able to be sold so cheap. At a thrift store it can be innexpensive because it was previously owned. At a department store it may be a lower price because of working conditions or low quality materials.
